About Monopowiki and me

The concept of Monopowiki came from the other wiki sites out there where people bought pages. The idea struck me as excellent, but there was a problem. The value of a wiki (such as Wikipedia) is the chronic interlinking to quality pages. This was missing on these paid wikis. No interlinking, sometimes poor quality, and definitely a lack of content.

So Monopowiki attempts, at the very least, to take care of all those problems. With the ability to create and edit any page that hasn’t been purchased, you can link between the free pages and your own. The quality can be upheld by letting people edit the free pages. The ability to expand content is also taken care of by having the freely edited and created pages. And, with all of this, you can harvest value by buying a page and controlling that content.

Personally, I’m a graduating college senior. I don’t really care to bore you with sob stories of debt and $8 pitchers of Guinness. But if you’re curious, first I’m going to pay off debts, and then fund a post-graduation career of running essentially an incubator of ideas me and a buddy create with rabbit-like prolificness.
